Happy Mother's Day!

Bonjour everybody!

How is your mother's day? I hope you all have a good day, as good as mine is. I must say, I feel a little guilty because my mother (and my father) are putting up my new furniture, which consists of my wardrobe, desk and chest of drawers, accompanied by my gorgeous bookcase! My mum says she would rather get it done and out the way, and then it'll make her "very happy to have it done and dusted" but I'm not convinced. I've tried to remove the hammer from her hands, but it just can't be done.

As for books, I have read one of my favourites since a long time; it made me laugh, it made my throat knot up, it made me gasp out loud, and it literally stops your heart ( in  a good way! ). So here we are:

TITLE:  Down the Rabbit Hole

AUTHOR:  Peter Abrahams

PAGES:   327

RATING:  4.5/5 stars

COMMENT:  I found this book on Good reads and I saw it had really positive reviews, so I decided to give it a go. Well, I'm so glad I did because you get all the common emotions in one - laughter, enjoyment, horror, suspense, sadness - and I highly recommend this book.

GENERAL PLOT:  This book is unbelievably witty, featuring lots of twists and turns in the storyline. It is based on a young teenager named Ingrid Levin-Hill, who is in the wrong place at the wrong time. The police are on the hunt for a killer, but thanks to Ingrid, they're on the entirely wrong tracks. Poor Ingrid is in the middle of this never ending nightmare. Like Alice in Wonderland, her extraordinary life is spiralling out of control.

So there it is! Now officially one of my favourite writers, Peter Abrhams has written at least a sequel for this book, and he has written a few adult books I keep meaning to read.

Anyway, have a great week ahead, and remember to read and have fun ( but mostly read:))

Until next time,
CIAO,
